Dear players of hl2dm,
I have decided, after much thinkin to step down from my position as administrator.
I'm doing the following for a few reasons. The first being that I just don't find enjoyment from hl2dm anymore. It's a milked game for me. I've spent thousand of hours and a lot of it is not just afking. The second is that I want to make more time to play on the CS:GO server and help eas with finding bugs or at least reporting abnormality to him. The game is new and has the potential for me to do what hl2dm did for me in my years since 2009 of playing. Due to this, I will not be playing hl2dm anymore regularly. Although I may join the server every once and awhile and play just to talk to you guys I won't be doing much to make money or establish myself or any gangs as a powerhouse of a player anymore. I'll just do whatever gives me enjoyment from the game. Also I've been a lot more active in my real life and social life aspects so I'm going to be putting that first. Lastly I feel like I'd like to see what the new admins can do and new community members, so I want to make room for new blood onto the administartion team.
So, between real life, other games, CS:GO, and my lack of my enjoyment of the game anymore, I'll be retiring from hl2dm.
It's been a fun Seven years guys, this is by far my favorite community I've ever been part of. I've made a lot of friends over the years here and I hope to see some of you at least try the CSGO server and such. Can't wait to see the future of the community and where it goes, if it does end up in CSGO or some other place.
Goodluck to you all,
- Nathan (Eldrun)
