I personally love building with the SM commands in this gamemode. Now that mIkEs ReVenGe is down, no one has an avenue to play with it.
I suggest adding a Builder user group that has the flags of sm_freeze , sm_unfreeze, sm_origin, and sm_angles. Note they cannot save props, that would still require admin approval.
In order to become one, you must apply to be Trusted.
The requirements for Trusted acceptance should be a checklist of things that show loyalty and looking at ban history for mingebaggery.
example questions:
How long have you played for?
Do you have an understanding of the basic precision commands? (origin/angles)
Who will vouch for your abilities and ethics? (requires a post from said person)
When is it not appropriate to freeze a prop?
Of course this group would have to adhere to rules that prevent trolling/glitching.
Such as:
No manipulating worldspawn entities
Only manipulating your own shit (or others when given explicit permission)
No blocking pathways or public areas
No using props to conceal/protect entites or yourself.
I know some of the builders in here would love to see this implemented. Its pretty damn simple to do, so take it into consideration.
