New Map

I know we have only been on Linesse_v3 for about a month now, but I was thinking that we switch to Linesse_v4. Seeing as how people also wanted it when we were switching maps it would be nice to give them what they wanted also. It is also just more fun to switch maps, but its not really switching maps because it is the same with slight variations. Maybe put out the two week notice now and then switch maps for maybe another month and a half to that one.

Thats a toughy since it requires double the work and is essentially another Map change.

The Vote was 18 Linesse 3 vs 12 Linesse 4.

Linesse 3 still has 13 active players that voted while 5 either don't play as much, left or voted without ever logging on in the first place.

Linesse 4 still has 5 active players that voted while 7 either don't play as much, left or voted without ever logging on in the first place.

This isn't me saying no, this is just a statistical breakdown.

He's suggesting we do an early switch, like we did with pray (except that it had been almost three months when we switched from pray anyway). I wouldn't suggest we do this because it means the admin team (volar), would have to put up another poll and then setup a new map just after he's setup this one, and setting up maps is not fun.

I'm down for Linesse_r4 being the next map, just not an early switch.

Honestly we've done Linesse to Linesse before and people got burnt out. I'd say go to Interurban or another then to Linesse 4.

As Volar has stated about doing v3/v4 back to back once already, it did get a bit too much. I am all for v4, but would probably like to do another map or two before switching over to v4 linesse. Plus we have only pretty much just clicked over to v3 linesse from pray anyway.. No need to do any early map changes tbh. :thumbup:

That's because you have to use a seperate compiler. Amsterville is working just fine for me. I am close from finishing.

Ye, next scheduled map change will be around June 13th if I am not mistaken.

I was suggesting an early switch, but it not really a map change when its really the same map. Seeing as how we are coming up on the halfway mark I was thinking why not switch to a variation of the current map to spice things up a bit. Then in June or whenever the next map change is we leave linesse for good

Yeah, that would still mean setting up a whole map just for another month or so and then setting up the next map after that. All of that would eventually fall to volar since nobody else really wants to do it lol.

It just depends on how the community as a whole feels, which would mean Volar would most probably have to create another poll. Then as doggy said Volar would have to do twice the amount of work setting up V4 and then the next map in a small time frame.

It's alot of extra work when I already have a full time job.

Technically I should just bite the bullet at some point and set up every Map we could potentially move to so the Databases are already set up and ready to go.

Biggest hassle is usually linking all doors / setting prices then adding all the props to the Furniture Store.
