      Why you got banned: because i used the super lockpick without getting admin cuff after using it too long.

      Other Information you think we should know: first of all i would like to say that it is not my fault that i can use the superlockpick as often as i want without getting admin jailed. i just thought it was normal to be able to use it as often as you want i just didn't think about it. earlier i said in the normal chat that you can use it as often as you want but why would i say that especially in the presence of an admin "thunder" if i knew it was illegal. before the monthly dailies it wasn't even possible to get the super lockpick so nobody knew anything about it so how should i know that it's normal or a bug? above all i've never been banned since i've been playing on cold because i know what it means to play fair and i will continue to play fair that's why i asked for this ban to be taken back.

    • So you, nemo and DOA have been using the super lockpick since you got it and thought that it was okay to be spamming it on the same door for multiple minutes at a time with no repercussions? Not one of you ever asked if using the lockpick like this is okay and looking through challenge logs I can see that the three of you are always the ones winning the supervillian weeklies along with burglary and criminal dailies.

      As you can see that's over 5500 uses of the lockpick which is around 46 lockpick uses per day on average just from you, the amount of money that you've made from farming challenges off of that is obscene and unfair to every other player to say the least.

      Yes, I will admit that the lockpick should have had a safeguard measure like the doorhack does but I was wanting to give benefit of the doubt that the people who had it wouldn't abuse it like this, but I can see now that was a mistake and measures will be taken to prevent this type of usage in the future.

      As it stands, I may consider reducing your ban to 2 weeks since as you said, you've never been banned before. However, your money and items will not be given back.

    • it seems to me that just because nemo got banned and i had a good relationship with him i have to suffer because of that because there is no other justification for what you are telling me here i already said i didn't know about the superlock pick and so far i didn't get banned and just before the eco reset you want to take everything from me just because of this little thing i can't do anything about?

    • Given recent events, I have a hard time believing that you really thought that using the lockpick in a way that you cannot with the doorhack was fine, especially with the three of you doing the exact same thing, of course I'm going to be checking what people that were close to nemo have been doing in the server. Also nobody has said that eco reset is happening anytime soon, just that there are plans. If you really feel the need to leave because you decided to not check whether spamming an item with 0 cooldown that gives you crime and can be used to complete multiple challenges incredibly fast was something that you should be allowed to do then that's on you dude.

    • that's not the point and i never colluded with nemo or doa. everything i did, i did on my own. and even if i knew the super doorhack in advance, it doesn't mean that the superlockpick will be the same, especially because there is and was no description about the lockpick. i thought it was okay because the superlockpick is not available by buying npc's but only by being the first place winner of a monthly daily. that's why i thought because it's not available to everyone that it justifies the infinite use. but that's not the point. the point is that it should have been set by you or whoever but it wasn't and i'm not psychic yet so how was i supposed to know?

    • You sat there for almost 30 minutes straight at one point and spammed your lockpick over 500 times on a single door, there is no daily challenge that you would need to do that for, so the only reasonable explanation is that you were doing it to farm crime either for supervillian or for bounty money, so I'm sorry but I don't believe that you were completely unaware that this was something that you shouldn't be doing or that you should even ask any admin about it (besides nemo for obvious reasons).

      Anyway, I've said what I wanted to now so I'm going to leave this for syle or any other admins that want to pitch in and give their 2c.

    • i can't imagine i would have used it the way you just said. i'd like to see proof of that. but still, it's not my fault if the lockpick allows it. consequently, it can't have been my fault at all and as i've said several times, i considered it normal. there are people who have done much worse and only received a warning and considering that i have never done anything wrong either in the game or on the forum, a simple warning would actually be enough because it is a bit over the top to act like this. and the fact that doa has now been treated the same as me shows me that this is not just about me. you act as if i am a serious criminal but i think it is not just me who sees this as going far beyond a justifiable punishment which in this case would have been a simple warning.
