I applaud Duer's method. There have been occasions where a group of guys have been a little outside the accepted practice but have also been enjoying themselves. I have let the infraction go un-noticed. But, where the populace get bothered, some sort of action is indicated.
Knowing Duer I doubt whether his action was based on total gameplay reaction. The nature of the vote from the other players probably wasn't as high-minded :-))
